Holiday Boot Camp: Tuxedo Peppermint Bark

Yay! So now for some sweetastic treats!

Triple layers of chocolately goodness topped peppermint delight!

This peppermint bark recipe actually came from a mistake gone delish. I had accidentally poured the hot white chocolate on the dark before it had cooled and it got all smeary and yucky looking so I put some more dark chocolate on top to hide it/ prettify it. Its called tuxedo because its black on the outsides and white on the inside like tuxedos!

Tuxedo Peppermint Bark, here we go!

Here's what you need:

  • 2 bags of dark chocolate chips
  • 1 bag of white chocolate chips
  • peppermint extract
  • wax paper
  • Peppermint candies or candy canes.
Here's what you do:

First line your baking pan with wax paper.

Then, smash up your candy canes!

Next, melt your first bag of dark chocolate chips according to the melting directions on the bag. (It might vary from mine based on how dark your chocolate is etc)

Spread your melted chocolate into your baking dish and let cool.

Let it cool for about an hour in the fridge and repeat with your white chocolate and then again with your second layer of dark chocolate.

I already added sprinkles!

Add your peppermint chunks!

Let it cool in the fridge for a few more hours. When its no longer soft at all, you should be able to break it into decent sized chunks. If your chocolate is too hard or two thick you can use a knife to chop it up.

And thats it!

Let me know if you have any questions! I hope you all enjoy this recipe! Its so rich though so keep in mind that smaller chunks might be better. :)

Can't wait to show you what I've got in store for tomorrow!
