Not four years, for life.

Hi Friends!

I have moved!! Check out my new site: www.froelichmeanshappy.com !!

See you there!!

So yeeaaa. I tried to do  DIY Lauren Conrad top and it did NOT work out.....  Ive been working on it off and on for like a week. I finished it late last night, hoping I could post about it today on my lunch. NOPE. FAIL!

And now I'm exhausted at work for nothing!

I'm going to try again even though I wasted all that pretty fabric. :(

So today, I'll talk about something different. Here on the campus I work on, recruitment season is coming for all of the sororities.

If you are in college and thinking about joining a sorority, do it.

Even if you're a sophmore.

Even if you're a transfer, I was.

Even if you don't think you're the "sorority type".

It will literally be the most amazing experience of your life.

While the matching shirts are an amazing bonus, you get so much more out of it.

You get amazing friends you call sisters who are part of your heart and life forever.
You learn about helping others and how good it makes you feel to see your efforts make a difference in someone's life.
You end up with the most amazingly redonk inside jokes that make you life for years after you graduate.
You get a little! Who will love and adore you almost as much as you love and adore her. Its an AMAZING feeling to welcome someone into your life and watch them get SO excited when they find out that you're their big!
You celebrate holidays with mini parties at your house.
You learn to be a leader and how to use your specific skills to your benefit.
You also learn to work as part of a team and that sometimes the most helpful thing you can do is show up and smile.
You find a home. A group of girls who are like you in many ways and different in ways that help you grow.
You find people who inspire you to be a better version of yourself. You learn things about yourself you never knew.
You get to dress up real pretty and go out on the town ;)

It makes your campus feel so much more than a home than a bunch of buildings you take class in. It makes college a life changing experience and not just a series of classes.

You feel AMAZING when new girls are happy to join. And you make amazing connections. This is Bianca from theinbetweengirls.com on her very first day as a DZ. Love her face.
Hot cocoa and cuddles with movies on rainy days

You learn to be brave, try new things you have never done.
You learn to help others make good choices in their lives.

Overall, it will change your life in all the right ways.

If you are even considering it, do it!

Ok, enough of our trip down memory lane. Back to work!

Take Me There Tuesday: Amalfi Coast!

Hi Friends!

I have moved!! Check out my new site: www.froelichmeanshappy.com !!

See you there!!

Todays post is a someday post. A post about something I'd like to do, someday.
My whole life, I have been in love with the idea of traveling. For years, I have been obsessed with the idea of living in London someday. London has been calling my name for so long now. Whenever I would think of where I would want to go, its always been London. Then Prague invaded my brain, and shortly there after I began having an affair with Italy.

You see, I've recently started developing feelings for a new local. I stumbled upon a photo of the Amalfi Coast, pictured below, and it was love at first site.

This is the photo that started it all. I randomly came across this photo using stumbleupon (which, if you have never tried, you should. It is awesome!)

Its this adorable little cliff-side stretch in Southern Italy. The cliff is so steep in fact that there is only one main roadway to this area by land.

It has mild weather year round which makes site seeing a viable option in all seasons.

This is extremely beneficial as their economy is mainly based on tourism.

The coastline is absolutely breathtaking don't you think?

I just love cities built into cliffs. Its soooooo..... European ;).

The amalfi coast is also known for its Limoncello, a delicious lemony liqueur! Can't you just picture yourself, on a back porch looking out at the ocean, sipping a delish lemony delight?

I think the area is quite charming. You'll notice as time goes on that I LOVE LOVE LOVE architecture of all kinds. I love looking at buildings of all kinds.

If you are super into pop culture, this place has been named in tons of entertainment forms. Did you know that entourage was shot here once?!

And that concludes today's edition of Take Me There Tuesday: Amalfi Coast!

<3 see you all soon!

Sometimes You Get Lost.

The last two weeks have been kiiiiind of crappy. As you all know my aunt passed, then i got REALLY REALLY sick. I haven't been able to do any of the crafting I have wanted to do.

But, let's focus on the positive! My online classes start tomorrow! Yay! I am SO excited!

One thing I have had to learn is that just because you are on a certain path, doesn't mean you can't take a turn without veering dangerously off course. Changing the direction of your dreams does not mean you are a crazy person about to do something that you will never recover from.

You can make changes, if you don't succeed, well then you the most important thing you lost was the "what if" and who wants that lying around anyway.

If you follow me on instagram (@somedaybaby) you know that my bestie is expecting a boy and I'm throwing the party! I did a small sneak peek of her invite. I'd like to share it with you! Important information has been changed to protect the innocent. ;)

What do you guys think??! I'm so excited to take this photoshop class so I can make even better thingymerbobs!!

Ok, I'm still really sick and not feeling too hot. I better get to bed so I can try and make it in to work tomorrow.

See you tomorrow for Take Me There Tuesday!!

Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened.

Hi Friends!

I have moved!! Check out my new site: www.froelichmeanshappy.com !!

See you there!!

Its been a long rough week for me.

My aunt passed away on Wednesday and I just couldn't bring myself to be all cheerful and bloggy. It was very sudden and very unexpected.

My aunt was full of spunk and sassitute and so completely full of love. Absolutely amazing human being. Also, you can blame her for fueling my scarf addiction. Just sayin'..... but when all is said and done she'd be kicking our asses off the couch and into gear because she was all about living life to the fullest and experiencing even the smallest of adventures that every day has to offer.

For this reason, I made the image below for her or in her honor or whatever you want to say. When all else fails, you can always rely on good ole Dr. Suess to solve adult life issues.......

I smile because of all the memories I have to keep and cherish in my mind and in my heart. I've cried my bit and even though tears may come to my eyes now and again in the future, the memories of laughter and brighter days will sweep the tears away.

And for you my lovelies, thank you for allowing me to share this with you. Happier things will be around this week here on Someday-Baby.

Things to expect: Baby shower crafts with a mustache theme, some yummy recipes to share and a Someday-Baby first: a fashion DIY!

Stay tuned!

As always, you can like our page on Facebook to get updates right away, follow us on instagram and twitter @somedaybaby, and leave some love below if you have questions, comments or want to say howdy.

Take Me There Tuesday: Prague!

Hi Friends!

I have moved!! Check out my new site: www.froelichmeanshappy.com !!

See you there!!

I've said for a while that I was going to start posting about places I'd really like to visit but up until now I haven't kept my promise. To thwart my lack of promise keeping, I've decided to have Take Me There Tuesdays every other week to feature a place I'd love to go.

First on the list? Prague, Czech Republic.

Prague is the capital of the Czech Republic. The Czech Republic was part of Czechoslovakia until it split in 1993 into Slovakia and the Czech Republic.

One of the things I think is so badass about Prague is that it is one of the few places that wasn't flattened  during the world wars so the buildings are some of the oldest around.

Covering over 110 acres, Prague Castle is one of the most intriguing and breathtaking national monuments. 110 acres. That's over 75 football fields.

Construction was started on the castle in the 9th century. That is old yo!

One of the first places in Prague that made me fall in love was Old Town Square.

Old town hall was built in 1388. Yep, you read that right. See what I mean about ollllllllld stuff?

One of the most beautiful and interesting historical stops is the Prague Astronomical Clock.

It is the oldest still working astronomical clock IN THE WORLD. Absolutely stunning. And its animated! You can youtube videos of the clock charming.

Prague is overall an enchanting city I can not wait to visit some day.

 GAH look at that LIBRARY!

Prague in the winter. :)

Can't you picture me walking down this street in my cute peacoat with a coffee in hand and my camera  in my bag.

Or walking across this bridge in the summer, off to a picnic in old town square.

So what do you think? Do you like these types of posts? Do you feel inspired? I do!! Where do you want to visit next?

See you soon!
